Taste of Digbeth *4

Welcome to the taste of digbeth *4 this is where I have walked around and taken images of the area known as Digbeth for those who have not reed the others I shall tell you what it is it is me telling the Objective, Subjective and context of my image why yes i did take these images.

Now i'll talk about Objective the objective is all the facts in the image these will be all the facts I see in the image; A lot of graffiti, even those which look like cracks in the walls are graffiti, Trees, building in the back and a nice horizon in the image it gives a nice background.

This is the Subjective which is my personal opinion of the image which is my opinion this is most likely the one i like the most out of my taste of digbeth; The graffiti is the main purpose of the image, but their are different parts of the graffiti, the zombie captain america and the graffiti which looks like cracks in the wall.

And lastly Context what other people think when they look at my image it; Graffiti, cracks in the walls and a clear sky

Taste of Digbeth *3

Welcome to another of my Taste of Digbeth *3 in case you didn't read the title these are images i have take yes me no one else and they are round the area in birmingham known as Digbeth. I will talk about the Objective, Subjective and the context in this I think it is bout time I begin.

The Objective is the facts of the image so anything I see in the image I will write; two cars, one car is silver, the other car is black, both cars are the exact same, lots of graffiti on the wall, and the door is covered with graffiti, it has a giant face drawn on the door and the drawing of the face is very unique.

The Subjective is my own personal opinion of the image although my opinion will be different to your own; I think this image was take at the right angle, there are identical cars, the face on the door draws you in to the image and it is a interesting image to look at seeing how you wouldn't see free art like this that much.

The Context is what other people see when they look at the image; this image is based with two main parts to the image one is the graffiti on the door and the other is the cars which are the same make.

Taste of digbeth *2

Again this is another taste of Digbeth where again will tell you the objective, subjective and the context of my photo and this doesn't have much of a objective like the last one it just looks really good so lets begin.

First of all let us start with the objective the objective is the facts of the image; it`s a church, looks quite old, smashed glass barely see able, a bin, a bit of barbed wire, it`s named St Basils, there is a gate on one side to walk through and a gate wide enough for a car.100

Now on to the subjective which is my opinion of this photo. This is image was a great shot of the building I think, I did enjoy the little cross next to it, I do enjoy the features of this photo though and the scenery looks amazing with this picture.

Lastly is context what other people see when they look at the image. The image has a good background, the church is the main point of this picture though and how the building looks like it has a face.

Taste of digbeth *1

Now I`m going to do the Objective, subjective and context of some of my own photos which will be under the title taste of digbeth but there will only be six of them this is the first.

I`m going to start with the Objective the objective is the facts what I can see in this image; Trees, fencing, a Block of flats with a symbol on the side, a England flag on the balcony and a house far in the background.

Now on to the subjective is what I think of the image these are my opinions; a park or football pitch, a block of flats which has been taken care of, a peaceful area, a nice day and a unique symbol.

And lastly context what other people may see when they look at it; a block of flats , a unique symbol, lots and lots of trees, clear skies.

shutter speed

Shutter speed

Is the speed of which your camera will take the photo for those of you who are not good at math it can get confusing. So you have been warned the shutter speed on most cameras on your dial will be a S but I don't know for all cameras so it could be different for a camera you are looking at but still on with this if you have changed your dial to S then on your display screen you should see 1/60 which is one sixthly of a second which is pretty quick but like aperture it can be lowered or raised it can be lowered to 25 seconds if you wanted which is 25 seconds after you have take the photo or you can have it as a quick as 1/2000 of a second.

Just like aperture this can change the exposer to the camera this can be caused by increase or decrease of the shutter if you increase the speed of photo then your photo will be underexposed. Then if you decrease the speed of your photo then it will be overexposed.

Aperture

Aperture

Aperture is your depth of field on your camera on your dial it can come up as A or AV there could be others on certain cameras but these are on most cameras. Once you have put aperture on and you look at your display screen you should see something like F8 which is one of the F no. the F no. can be changed to a lower F no. or a higher F no. this can go to F2 to F30 but this again is for certain cameras each camera has a limit for how it can reach so it can vary this will change the lens of your camera though by doing so it can make your camera focus on everything or one item.

While doing this it can change the exposer level for the of your F no. how high your F no. is can decrease the light your camera gets and the lower the F no. the more exposed to the light the lens is which creates a really bright photo.

Speed shutter and Aperture creates exposer

This blog will explain how your F no. and shutter speed effects your exposure if you don't understand these. I will try to explain
This picture shows the F no.  and shutter speed. This shows the effect of the exposer I 'm going to try to explain this though all right. If your F no. is high like F/16 then your shutter speed will have to be near 1/8 sec for shutter speed if you change the F no. and shutter speed to something like F/2 and 1/500 sec this would have the exact same expose as the first but if you have these numbers at completely different sides like F/2
and 1/8 sec or even F/16 and 1/500 sec. These are examples but your pictures would be over exposed or underexposed.

But I'm going to show some photos i have taken today

concentration camp

This is a image of one of the concentration camps with this image i will talk about the objective, the subjective and the context.

This is the objective of this image is there dead bodies, mainly jews, their are others but the list would go on for a long time, soldiers in the back, dead bodies lined up some even stacked up, This image is a disturbing and speechless image.

This is the subjective of this image These people have been killed because of a warlord, These events have caused major problems everywhere and every war has a heavy price to pay.

This is the context of this image horrified image, discussed, fear of the past and future.

Cambodia 1979

This is a image of Cambodia 1979 but if your looking for the image type that in but type in skulls at the end but again I will be talking about objective, subjective and context.

The objective of this image is Skulls clearly, black and white photo shows an old look, mass murder, Crowded and bones.

The subjective of this image is That a lot of people were killed, kind of organised, the person in charge was a bit of a warlord, also leaves you kind of speechless too, reminds me of the concentration camp and looks a bit photoshopped.

The context is that 25% of that country were killed, it is sort of a collection and horrified.

Raising the flag on Iwo Jima

This image is known as Raising the flag on Iwo Jima with this image i will be talking about the objective, subjective and context. I'm going to start with the objective.

The objective of this image is Victory for america, a team lifting this flag, soldiers, four man squad, this is what most battlefields look like, using team work to lift the flag and it is quite an old image.

The subjective of this image is New history, destruction, America winning, helping their squad team mate, water in the background, a lot of violence, a lot of negativity, propaganda, this image was taken 4 times before to get the image right, one of the squad members struggling, cannon fodder, Dominating another area, this is conquest.

The context of this would be four man squad, debris, team work lifting a flag pole.

Bloody saturday

This is a image of bloody saturday with this image i will be talking about the objective, subjective and context of the image.

The objective of this image is the debris from the collapse bridge, crying baby, desolate area, the train tracks, scraps of metal, old image, the baby is dirty and covered in blood, the destruction of the area and the building in the background.

The subjective of this image is the sad emotion you get from this baby with his vulnerable you feel helpless for the child.

The context could be every war has causalities, bad things happen everywhere know matter who you are.
